We mentor students in the same way an apprenticeship program would. For example, massage students work along with their facilitator so the instructor can lead and coach their every step for a successful massage session with clients. In order to achieve this great mile stone, we increase physical stamina in each learner with daily exercise. Consequently, we are teaching our students to be excellent employees as well as great massage therapists in private practice for life. Extreme care is taken from how we set up the rooms to the products that are used in all appointments. To better prepare our learners for the workplace; we offer a structured and rigorous curriculum. In the workforce, the prospective businesses thrive on the workers being timely; therefore we stress timeliness in the program. Our method of developing character as well as polishing etiquette skills remains the center piece of the program to give our learners an edge over the competition. This type of mentality makes our graduates a priced commodity to any employer. We want to produce the best of the best in the nation as massage therapists; and yet our graduates can also complete globally in the international arena.
We do this through our guest lectures in the community from acupuncturists,
chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and medical doctors.
The strength of the program is the intensive work with practice and more
practice of the different types of massage.
The curriculum and program stand alone as second to none as a result of
this teaching method. |
